on 3 december 2013, the hong kong institute of directors announced and honoured winners of the directors of the year awards 2013 at its anniversary dinner of the institute held at the hong kong convention and exhibition centre. more than 600 guests from different industries and sectors were at the occasion to celebrate the winners' achievements in corporate governance excellence. mr. john seto, the independent non-executive director of china everbright limited, is the winner of the directors of the year awards 2013 (listed companies, non-executive director).
