everbright ceo chen shuang officiates at cuaafa’s spring cocktail reception and investment forum

23 february 2012 – the spring cocktail reception and investment forum 2012, organised by the china universities alumni association - financial association (“cuaafa”), was held at the ritz-carlton in the icc. mr. chen shuang, chairman of cuaafa and ceo & executive director of china everbright limited (“everbright”) officiated at the event, which was attended by honourable guests including mr. cy leung, a candidate to be hong kong’s fourth chief executive and an advisor to cuaafa; mr. sun xiangyi and mr. xu lin, deputy directors general of the economic affairs department of the liaison office of the central government in the hksar (locpg); mr. mo jinqiang, deputy director general of the education, science and technology department of the locpg; mr. he dong, executive director of the hong kong monetary authority; mr. yim fung, president of the chinese securities association of hong kong; mr. fong ching, ms. fong wong kut man, ms. ki man fung, mr. leong ka chai, mr. chan hing cheong, mr. yu shin gay and mr. lee sheung shing, who are all advisors to the chinese financial association of hong kong; mr. guo ming hua, president of cuaa; ms. zhu yan lai, honourary chairman of the chinese financial association of hong kong; mr chen shuang, chairman of the chinese financial association of hong kong; mr. lin yong, mr. hu zhang hong, mr. zhai pu, mr. luo jia bin, mr. song min, mr. huang shao ming and mr. sun ming chun, who are vice chairmen of the chinese financial association of hong kong. 
 
a cocktail reception was followed by the investment forum, which addressed “china’s economic risks and possible tactics against the global debt crisis.” speakers included dr. hu yifan, chief economist and head of research of haitong international holdings limited; mr. xiao geng, senior fellow and director of research of fung global institute; and prof. frank m. song and dr. sun ming chun, vice chairman of the chinese financial association of hong kong. the event had around 150 participants in total.
