leading economist dr. ba shu-song visits everbright

10 may 2012, hong kong – dr. ba shu-song, deputy director general of the financial research institute of the state council’s development research center, and chief economist of the china banking association, visited the headquarters of china everbright limited (“everbright”, hkse code: 165).
dr. ba delivered a speech about the “cross-border use of the renminbi: its development trends and opportunities for hong kong”, in which he addressed the historical opportunities arising from cross-border settlement , the use of the renminbi, the prevailing trends of domestic and overseas development, and the possibility of monetary reform. the participants exchanged views and discussed the development and prospects for the chinese economy and financial market.
