the company always aims to comply with established corporate governance best practices, and the core value of the company is to protect the interests of its shareholders, customers, staff and other stakeholders. it is committed to strictly abide by the laws and regulations of hong kong and observe the rules and guidelines issued by the relevant regulatory authorities such as the securities and futures commission of hong kong and the stock exchange of hong kong limited (“the stock exchange”). the company also constantly reviews its corporate governance practices to meet international and local best practices including the corporate governance code as set out in appendix c1 of the rules governing the listing of securities on the stock exchange. one of the core values of the company is that the highest standard of integrity is essential to business development.
